Individualized homeopathic care.
Because your story and your healing journey are uniquely yours.
I offer personalized homeopathic care that takes the time to understand you—not just your symptoms.
Serving clients virtually and in person in Vernon, BC, Canada.
You deserve care that sees the whole picture.
When you're struggling with your health, it can feel frustrating to be treated as a list of symptoms rather than as a whole person.
Your symptoms, experiences, patterns, and circumstances are uniquely yours—and they deserve to be understood in context.
Homeopathic care takes the time to listen to your story and develop an individualized approach to your care.
A different approach begins with listening.
I'm Rosemary Whelpdale, Certified Advanced Practitioner of Homeopathy (AdvPracHom, RMDY).
I believe your health story deserves to be heard in its entirety—not reduced to a single symptom or diagnosis.
My role is to listen deeply, recognize the patterns within your individual experience, and guide you through a personalized homeopathic approach.
Here’s how it works:
1: Tell Your Story
Begin with a comprehensive consultation where we explore your health history, symptoms, experiences, and the patterns that make your situation unique.
2: Receive Individualized Care
Follow-up care allows us to reassess your progress and adapt your care as your needs evolve.
3: Continue Your Journey
Your case is carefully considered to develop a homeopathic approach tailored specifically to you.
Experienced.
Individualized.
Person-Centred.
As an Advanced Practitioner of Homeopathy (AdvPracHom, RMDY), I bring professional training, clinical experience, and a deeply individualized approach to every case.
My focus is creating a thoughtful space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your homeopathic care.
Imagine feeling truly heard & supported in your care.
Imagine having the time and space to tell your story.
To have your individual experience considered as a whole.
To have a practitioner who takes the time to understand your unique patterns and works with you through an individualized approach.
Your story matters. Your care should reflect that.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Homeopathy is a complete system of natural medicine that works with the body’s own capacity to heal and restore balance.
Homeopathic remedies are prepared from natural sources such as plants and minerals through a specialized process of dilution and succussion. Rather than simply targeting individual symptoms, homeopathy looks at the whole person—including physical symptoms, emotional patterns, sensitivities, and individual experiences—to understand what may be at the root of the imbalance.
Because no two people experience illness in exactly the same way, homeopathic care is individualized to you. The goal is to select a remedy that closely matches your unique pattern, supporting your body’s natural healing process rather than simply masking symptoms.
-
A succussion is the process of firmly tapping the remedy bottle against the palm of your hand. This is typically done before each dose to gently re-energize the remedy.
Please follow the specific instructions provided by your homeopath regarding the number and timing of succussions before each dose.
-
Unless otherwise directed by your homeopath, liquid and pillule remedies are taken under the tongue.
Liquid remedies: Place the prescribed number of drops under your tongue. Try not to let the glass dropper touch your mouth, lips, or teeth. If you have difficulty feeling where the drops are landing, use a mirror or alternate sides of your mouth as you dispense the remedy.
Pillules: Place the prescribed number of pillules under your tongue and allow them to dissolve naturally.
For children: Liquid doses may be administered directly into the child’s mouth as instructed by your homeopath. Because the pipette is made of glass, take particular care to keep it away from the child’s teeth and mouth.
-
Yes, Homeopathic medicines are viewed as safe.
Remedies are diluted to the point that they are completely safe for everyone to take including infants, and pregnant women to the elderly. They are non-addictive with no ill side effects bringing only cure and a better sense of well-being.
-
Homeopathy can be used as a complementary approach alongside many other forms of healthcare. Your homeopathic care can be part of a broader, integrative approach to supporting your overall well-being.
It is important to keep your homeopath informed about any medications, supplements, or other treatments you are currently using. Likewise, continue to follow the recommendations of your physician or other healthcare providers, and consult with them before making changes to prescribed medications or treatment plans.

-
Your initial homeopathic consultation is a deep-dive into your unique health story and typically lasts 1½–2 hours. While it may feel somewhat like a therapy session, the focus is on understanding the complete picture of you—not simply treating an isolated symptom.
Your homeopath will ask detailed questions about your physical, mental, and emotional symptoms, as well as the things that make you uniquely you: your preferences and pet peeves, fears, dreams, personality, family history, past experiences, and more. These details can be surprisingly important in helping to understand your individual symptom picture.
Once your case has been thoroughly documented, your homeopath will carefully review the information and select the homeopathic remedy that most closely matches your individual symptom picture. Many people are surprised by just how specific the picture of an individual remedy can be.
What Happens After Your First Remedy?
A follow-up appointment is generally scheduled 4–6 weeks after your first dose. Homeopathy is not intended to provide an overnight fix or simply suppress or mask symptoms. Rather, the remedy is used as a catalyst to support your body's own healing response.
Everyone responds differently, and changes can sometimes be subtle. Because we become so accustomed to our usual symptoms, improvements may happen gradually enough that we don't always recognize them at first.
This is why your first follow-up is such an important part of the process.
Together, we will look closely at what has changed since taking your remedy—including improvements you may have noticed, symptoms that have shifted, and anything new that may have surfaced. These changes help your homeopath understand how your case is progressing and determine the best next step in your care.
Homeopathy is a process, and your body may address what it needs most in its own time. The goal is to understand and support that process rather than rush it.
